Driver

Overview

The Driver is tasked with ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient movement of the company's products, materials, equipment, and personnel. This position emphasizes adherence to company policies and road safety regulations to guarantee the secure delivery and maintenance of all transportation activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport goods securely to customers, distributors, warehouses, and other specified locations.
• Carefully load and unload items to avoid damage during transit.
• Verify the accuracy of delivery quantities by cross-checking invoices, waybills, and delivery notes both before departure and after delivery.
• Perform thorough daily inspections of vehicles, checking fuel, oil, coolant levels, tire pressure, brakes, lights, and other critical components before and after trips.
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure vehicles remain roadworthy and well-maintained.
• Promptly report any vehicle malfunctions, accidents, breakdowns, or maintenance requirements to management.
• Comply strictly with road traffic laws and company transportation policies.
• Provide assistance with the loading and unloading of goods when needed.
• Uphold professionalism when dealing with customers, suppliers, and the general public.
• Execute additional tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Possess a Senior High School (SHS) certificate or an equivalent qualification.
• Hold a valid Category C driver's license.
• Have a minimum of two years of professional driving experience, preferably within a water production environment.
• Maintain a clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
• Possess fundamental knowledge of vehicle maintenance and the ability to troubleshoot basic issues.
