Role Summary
The company is looking for an Area Director of Revenue Management based remotely in Mumbai, responsible for directing pricing strategies and maximizing revenue across a portfolio of lifestyle and independent hotels operating in the US and Caribbean regions. This position involves close coordination with US-based leadership and property teams to manage demand strategies, optimize distribution channels, and ensure precise forecasting across properties.
Responsibilities
- Direct pricing and revenue generation strategies across several hotel assets.
- Manage demand forecasting, analyze pickup patterns, and gather market intelligence.
- Oversee distribution strategies across online travel agencies (OTAs), brand websites, central reservation systems (CRS), and channel partners.
- Monitor booking trends, competitor positioning, and implement rate management strategies.
- Lead RevMAX meetings and conduct commercial performance evaluations with property teams.
- Prepare monthly reports, market analyses, and ongoing portfolio performance assessments.
- Collaborate with US leadership to synchronize commercial strategy and its execution.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 to 4 years' experience in hotel revenue management within the US market.
- Prior experience managing multiple properties or a regional portfolio is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Hilton Systems and Indy Systems, with preference for StayNTouch, SynXis, Lighthouse, or TravelClick platforms.
- Strong analytical skills in forecasting, pricing techniques, and understanding market demand trends.
- Availability to work remotely during US business hours (EST to PDT).
Compensation and Work Details
- Monthly salary range of ₹125,000 to ₹150,000.
- Eligibility for a bi-annual performance bonus of up to 20%.
- Full-time role operating remotely from Mumbai, aligned with US time zones.
