Role Overview
This role is ideal for an individual who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated to deliver precise and efficient work. The position focuses on managing repetitive workflows, adhering to defined processes, and executing a high volume of tasks within tight deadlines in a fast-paced e-commerce environment. This opportunity serves as a foundational role in digital content management and e-commerce operations, mainly involving hands-on website execution, quality checks, documentation, and coordinating projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement approved digital content strategies on Michael Kors and Michael Kors Outlet websites across North America.
- Manage day-to-day homepage updates, landing page adjustments, navigation alterations, promotion placements, seasonal campaigns, sale events, and other website content activities.
- Oversee the execution of promotional calendars for Michael Kors Outlet, ensuring that promotional materials, creatives, links, timings, and site placements are accurate and timely.
- Convert strategic goals and guidance into detailed briefs, linking resources, tickets, trackers, and execution deliverables.
- Collaborate with site merchandising, web production teams, and other cross-functional departments to facilitate content movement from briefing to launch.
- Conduct meticulous quality assurance checks before and after content launches, identifying and reporting any issues related to content accuracy, linking, messaging, or site functionality.
- Maintain up-to-date content calendars, project trackers, process documents, and team reference materials.
- Support updates using third-party platforms and tools as per directives from the Digital Content & Experience Manager.
- Perform daily walkthroughs of the sites and assist with ongoing site maintenance tasks.
- Help collect materials and performance data for seasonal reviews and leadership presentations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of one year of experience in e-commerce, digital content, site operations, project coordination, or related retail functions.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Capability to handle repetitive, high-volume tasks and meet deadlines reliably.
- Strong organizational, communication, and follow-through abilities.
- Comfortable adhering to established workflows, incorporating feedback, and escalating concerns appropriately.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work onsite in New York City at least three days every week.
Desired Additional Experience
- Experience with content management systems, project management tools, personalization platforms, analytics, or e-commerce technologies.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Dynamic Yield, Contentsquare, Monday.com, Jira, or comparable tools.
- Conversational skills in French and/or Spanish are a plus.
