Overview
Join the Imaging department at The Clementine Churchill Hospital in Harrow, part of Circle Health Group, a leading independent healthcare provider in the UK. This full-time permanent position involves working 37.5 hours per week on a flexible shift pattern.
Role Summary
As a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant, you will play a vital role within the imaging team, providing high-quality, patient-centered care. You will collaborate closely with consultants, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams under the supervision of a Registered Practitioner, ensuring professional conduct aligned with Healthcare Assistant standards and regulatory codes such as the Nursing Midwifery Council and Health and Care Professions Council. Your duties include maintaining competence within your scope and contributing to safe, quality care delivery.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous work experience as an Imaging or Healthcare Assistant.
- Demonstrated ability to manage customer interactions, including in challenging situations.
- Possession of the Care Certificate.
- NVQ Level 1 completion and willingness to pursue NVQ Level 2 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent qualifications.
- Motivation to work towards NVQ Level 3 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.
- Maths and English GCSE qualifications at grade A-C or functional skills Level 2 equivalency.
