Deli Supervisor - Full-Time

Overview

Country Grocer's Esquimalt store is seeking a dedicated, motivated team player for the role of Full-Time Deli Supervisor. If you enjoy preparing fresh deli sandwiches and cheese platters while delivering exceptional customer service, this position could be a great fit.

Work Schedule

• Availability to work flexible hours including weekdays, weekends, holidays, and evening shifts is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage ordering of stock from suppliers.
• Prepare, package, weigh, and price a variety of deli products including meats, cheeses, party trays, fresh salads, sandwiches, and both hot and cold entrees.
• Ensure all products are properly labeled, covered, and rotated based on freshness.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, quantity, freshness, and visual presentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a current Food Safe certification is advantageous; however, Country Grocer offers assistance to obtain certification after hiring.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely bend, twist, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Must be able to stand and walk throughout the entire shift.
• Maintain safe working conditions by adhering to safety protocols.

Compensation

Hourly wage ranges from CA$20.75 to CA$22.50.
