Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain organization and zoning within the deli department.
• Manage stock rotation and identify expired products to ensure quality compliance.
• Verify that merchandise is correctly labeled with prices and signage.
• Follow policies related to cold chain management, including thermometer calibration, temperature tracking, and proper food handling procedures.
• Handle customer orders for deli products by slicing, preparing meats, cheeses, fried chicken, and other goods as needed.
• Support front-end associates with price verification tasks.
• Prepare deli items using slicers, stackers, ovens, deep fryers, and assemble salads or side dishes for display and special customer requests.
• Ensure the deli area remains clean, tidy, and free from debris or hazards.

Compensation

The entry-level hourly wage for this position begins at $18.70 per hour.
