Twilio leads innovation in communication technologies and empowers millions of developers worldwide to deliver personalized customer experiences. Embracing a remote-first culture, Twilio fosters a diverse, globally connected workforce contributing to impactful projects every day. As a Deal Desk Manager based remotely in Singapore, you will play a critical role in Twilio’s North American Go-to-Market operations, utilizing your financial analysis expertise to enable sound deal structuring and execution.

Core Responsibilities

  • Assess financial aspects of both standard and custom commercial agreements by analyzing pricing, discounts, term durations, usage commitments, and impact on gross margin.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales teams to design deals that balance price, volume, and risk within Twilio’s financial guidelines.
  • Create, maintain, and evaluate complex financial models and pricing scenarios to support unique deal requests and senior leadership decisions.
  • Manage the entire Deal Desk process in Salesforce/CPQ, ensuring accurate pricing approvals, quote creation, order form documentation, contract execution, and opportunity closure with complete data accuracy and adherence to company policies.
  • Build strong partnerships with Legal, Billing Operations, Finance, and Sales to improve deal throughput especially during peak periods like month-end and quarter-end.
  • Act as a compliance guardian and adviser for Sales and Go-to-Market teams, ensuring internal contract policies, approval workflows, and discount governance are properly followed.
  • Work with Sales and Legal to review non-standard contract terms within Order Forms, ensuring compliance with corporate risk management and revenue recognition standards.
  • Identify recurring patterns, exceptions, and bottlenecks in deal workflows, recommending process and system improvements to enhance Deal Desk efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree with at least 5 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis, Commercial Finance, or a similar analytical GTM/Deal Desk role, or 7 years of relevant experience without a degree.
  • Proven analytical and financial acumen, with deep understanding of financial fundamentals and ability to clearly communicate financial trade-offs.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, capable of building intermediate-level financial models, formulas, and scenario analyses.
  • Highly organized and detail-focused individual capable of managing multiple urgent requests under tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive mindset and integrity that aligns with Twilio’s culture.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with online sales/document management tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, Contract Lifecycle Management software, or JIRA.
