Team and Location
The team consists of over 35 members, primarily based in Berlin, Germany, with additional contributors in A Coruna, Spain, and Lisbon, Portugal.
Role Overview
As a DAO Coordination Lead, you will spearhead the best practices for DAO coordination within SafeDAO, enhancing current operations and formulating a roadmap for future governance improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate SafeDAO community meetings and provide comprehensive updates on SafeDAO activities to stakeholders.
- Perform market research concerning DAO infrastructure, tools, and evolving best practices.
- Oversee and optimize SafeDAO’s governance processes, emphasizing practical and streamlined solutions.
- Assist the Marketing team with communications for SafeDAO announcements and launches.
- Coordinate community participation, contribution, and oversee engagement and incentive initiatives.
- Collaborate with community members to draft proposals for SafeDAO consideration.
- Identify limitations in current governance structures and develop strategic plans for enhancements.
Candidate Qualifications
- Active participation and comprehensive understanding of at least one DAO and the broader Web3 ecosystem.
- Strong supporter of decentralized governance and Web3 principles with exceptional presentation skills.
- Experience using relevant DAO tools such as Boardroom, Snapshot, Tally, Discourse, Sourcecred, Coordinape, and DeWork.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and oral, at near-native level.
- Consistent awareness of market developments and trends in the Web3 space.
- Proven ability to manage extensive online community discussions involving various external stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on management experience with Web3 community platforms including Discord and forums.
- Leadership in creating and guiding DAO improvement proposals with both conceptual and technical insights into DAO frameworks.
