About the Role

Joining Walmart Canada as a Dairy Frozen Associate offers a valuable opportunity to enhance your skills within the retail sector. In this role, you will deliver outstanding customer service aligned with Walmart’s core values, manage and organize the Dairy/Frozen department, assist in replenishment, and facilitate product sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and zone the Dairy/Frozen area effectively.
• Rotate stock regularly while monitoring and removing expired products.
• Ensure all merchandise is accurately labeled and priced.
• Comply with cold chain standards including thermometer calibration, temperature logging, food handling, and monitoring product expiration and sell-by dates.
• Follow strict food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the department.
• Execute ordering, clearance, markdowns, signing, pricing, and labeling procedures appropriately.
• Preserve merchandising features and display standards.
• Keep the workspace orderly, free of wild fixtures, debris, foreign items, and spills.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $18.00 per hour.

Minimum Qualifications

• Applicants must be 16 years of age or older.
