Role Overview

Ramen Bae is hiring a Creative Strategist to build and lead the creative system behind its direct-to-consumer ramen business. This role focuses on performance creative for paid social, especially Meta, and requires someone who can translate product knowledge, audience insights, and campaign data into ad concepts, hooks, scripts, creator briefs, and video assets that drive conversions.

The position sits at the intersection of performance marketing, creative thinking, consumer psychology, and hands-on execution. The right person will be comfortable analyzing data, identifying what works, developing fresh angles, and moving quickly from concept to launch. This is a high-impact role with room for leadership and growth, working closely with the CMO and growth team to build a scalable creative engine.

Responsibilities

  • Lead creative strategy across paid social and performance channels, with primary ownership of Meta.
  • Set up and run a structured testing process across hooks, formats, scripts, offers, concepts, personas, and audience groups.
  • Create new ad angles using customer pain points, product strengths, trend signals, competitor research, customer feedback, and performance results.
  • Plan creative across the full funnel, from audiences that do not yet recognize the problem to those ready to purchase.
  • Own the pipeline of performance video assets, including UGC, creator-led ads, founder-led content, product demos, recipe-style content, narrative ads, comparison ads, and social-first concepts.
  • Review creative results to identify patterns, scalable ideas, and opportunities to improve performance.
  • Contribute to stronger ROAS, lower CAC, better conversion rates, and overall revenue growth through sharper creative strategy and execution.
  • Manage the creative workflow from idea generation through briefs, scripting, production, editing, feedback, and final delivery.
  • Draft clear, high-performing hooks, scripts, ad briefs, and creator guidance.
  • Direct creators, editors, freelancers, agencies, and internal teammates to produce effective assets.
  • Build operating systems for ideation, testing, asset management, feedback, iteration, and reporting.
  • Make sure creative stays on-brand while also being built for paid social performance.
  • Track social trends, competitor ads, creator formats, and new creative opportunities.
  • Step in wherever needed to keep production moving, including scripting, edit reviews, creator sourcing, asset organization, and concept development.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in creative strategy, performance marketing, paid social creative, DTC ecommerce, or a performance creative agency.
