About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Director of Partnerships for North America, the Coordinator, Partnerships plays a key role in supporting the daily management and expansion of OverActive Media's partner network. This position demands hands-on involvement with internal teams such as Marketing, Finance, Events, and Executive Leadership, as well as collaboration with external partners and agencies to execute campaigns and cultivate new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing partnership accounts across OverActive Media’s North American divisions to ensure seamless execution.
- Coordinate the rollout of sponsorship initiatives, covering digital, social media, content creation, broadcasting, live events, and experiential marketing activations.
- Work collaboratively across departments to guarantee the timely and accurate delivery of contractual assets.
- Support onboarding processes for new partners and handle project timelines and approval cycles for partner-facing creative and marketing content.
- Contribute to live event activations and partner hospitality as necessary to ensure excellent on-site execution.
- Identify opportunities to improve partnership programs and assist with renewal discussions.
- Maintain partner workbooks, asset trackers, campaign calendars, and other documentation to monitor deliverables.
- Prepare post-campaign recaps utilizing data from social, broadcast, event, and other performance indicators.
- Assist with budget management including invoicing, revenue reconciliation, and forecasting.
- Keep internal partnership records updated and organized, supporting smooth operational flow.
- Conduct category research, planning, and contribute to other projects aiding the growth of the Partnerships team.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as Team Operations to support partner program delivery.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in partnerships, marketing, communications, esports, sports, entertainment, or similar industries.
- Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma, ideally specializing in sports or marketing fields.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to create reports and present information to senior leadership.
- Proficient understanding of current social media platforms and tools including X, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, along with knowledge of paid social advertising strategies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills and an eye for detail.
- Positive mindset aligned with OverActive Media’s core values.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.
- Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with aptitude to learn new software as needed.

This role is based onsite in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and requires a passion for esports, gaming culture, and digital entertainment evolution. Candidates should be comfortable handling both strategic and operational aspects of partnership management within the esports sector.
