About the role

In this Console Operator position, your main focus will be delivering strong customer experiences and keeping the store clean, well stocked, and inviting for guests. The role is busy and varied, so being able to juggle tasks and manage time effectively is important. OTR also highlights its food range and barista coffee offering as part of the customer experience.

What you will be doing

• Deliver helpful, professional service to customers throughout the shift.
• Keep the store presentable, tidy, stocked, and welcoming.
• Handle a busy workflow while managing several tasks at once.
• Work independently when needed and also contribute as part of a team.
• Promote product ranges and current specials to customers.
• Maintain the physical demands of the role, including standing for long periods and performing moderate to heavy lifting and reaching.
• Be available for flexible scheduling, including late evenings, early mornings, and weekends.

Candidate profile

• You should be committed to delivering excellent customer service.
• You need to be comfortable working both solo and with others.
• You must be able to stay on your feet for extended periods and manage lifting/reaching duties.
• You should be open to learning about products and promotions.
• Flexible availability across varied hours is required.
