About the team
The Compensation and Benefits team is responsible for designing strategic reward programmes that help the organisation attract, retain, and motivate high-performing employees. The team works closely with internal partners to understand changing business priorities and turn them into reward initiatives that support business growth and talent retention.
Role overview
This role focuses on planning and rolling out compensation and benefits initiatives across the region, along with reviewing policies, analysing market data, and supporting end-to-end reward projects. The position also involves working with business leaders, HR business partners, and senior stakeholders to ensure programmes remain competitive, internally fair, and compliant.
Key responsibilities
- Create regional strategies, policies, and guidelines for compensation and benefits programmes.
- Build communication materials and share policy and programme updates clearly with employees and stakeholders.
- Track programme impact by reviewing data and feedback, then identify improvements to strengthen future roll-outs.
- Assess compensation and benefits policies and plans to make sure they stay market-competitive, internally balanced, and compliant.
- Handle salary benchmarking, compensation recommendations, annual increments and bonuses, as well as short-term and long-term incentives and job grading activities.
- Coordinate compensation and benefits projects from start to finish with business leaders, HRBPs, and senior management.
- Research industry practices and analyse information to judge whether proposed rewards initiatives are practical and effective.
Requirements
The role calls for a candidate with a relevant bachelor’s degree; a master’s degree is considered an advantage but is not mandatory. At least 3 years of full-time experience in a human resources function is required. Prior exposure to one or more of the following is needed: compensation benchmarking, salary reviews, bonus planning, job grading, incentive programmes, or compensation policy design. Experience in an in-house compensation and benefits role, or in a rewards/compensation consulting role at firms such as Aon, Mercer, or Willis Tower Watson, is a plus.
Successful applicants should bring strong commercial understanding, the ability to connect business strategy with execution, and a hands-on approach to getting work done. They should also demonstrate strategic judgement, flexibility in managing multiple complex priorities, comfort working in a fast-moving environment, attention to detail, and strong communication and relationship-building skills across varied stakeholder groups, including senior leaders.
Additional information
This position is based in Singapore and is a full-time onsite role. The job description does not mention salary, number of vacancies, start date, or application deadline.
