Overview
The Marnin Bowa Dumbara Aboriginal Corporation is establishing a recruitment pool to fill future permanent, fixed-term, casual, or temporary positions within their not-for-profit community services organization based in Derby, Western Australia.
About the Recruitment Pool
This recruitment pool identifies candidates who possess appropriate skills and values for various community service roles. Candidates selected in the pool may be considered for vacancies as they arise over a 12-month period from the time of selection. Being part of the pool does not guarantee employment, which depends on organizational needs, funding, role suitability, candidate availability, and fulfilment of required checks.
Potential Duties
- Management, supervision, and coordination of services
- Administrative tasks including records and office support
- Human resources functions such as recruitment and workforce administration
- Funding management, grant applications, reporting, and developing partnerships
- Case management, client assessments, referrals, and advocacy
- Social work, crisis intervention, and client-focused support
- Alcohol and other drug counselling and referral assistance
- Family and domestic violence risk assessment, safety planning, and referrals
- Prevention, early intervention initiatives, and community education
All positions require strict confidentiality, maintaining professional boundaries, meticulous record keeping, adherence to safe work practices, and active participation in supervision, training, and ongoing professional development.

Experience in community services sectors such as management, administration, human resources, grants, case management, social work, alcohol and other drug counselling, family and domestic violence support, crisis intervention, or prevention will be highly valued.
