Role Overview

The Community Manager, based in New Delhi, is a full-time position responsible for cultivating and managing the local community surrounding CurioBoat’s neighborhood centers. This role involves the planning and execution of engaging events and activities, interacting closely with visitors and members, and fostering relationships with local partners and stakeholders. The Community Manager will oversee communication channels, collect participant feedback, and maintain vibrant, inclusive, and well-managed activity centers. Additional responsibilities include coordinating logistics, ensuring a hospitable atmosphere, and working closely with internal teams to promote initiatives and enhance the community experience.

Qualifications

  • Proven capability in community engagement and relationship development, able to connect with diverse audiences and support an inclusive setting.
  • Experience with event planning, on-site coordination, and basic operational oversight within community spaces or related contexts.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of local languages is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with marketing and social media to promote events, share updates, and increase community involvement.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills; proactive in handling issues arising on the ground.
  • Willingness to work on-site in New Delhi, including occasional evenings or weekends to support event requirements; embodies a customer-centric approach.
  • Educational background in community development, hospitality, communications, or similar fields is preferable but not compulsory.
  • Previous experience in community management, event coordination, or roles involving customer interaction is advantageous.
