About Us
WeWork offers adaptable workspace solutions supporting businesses across 37+ countries, leading the future of work by fostering a global community. Our mission is to empower members to excel in their work and elevate their ideas.
Role Overview
As a Community Lead, you play a crucial role in enhancing member experiences at your WeWork site. Responsible for meeting member needs and upholding WeWork’s global standards, you will drive engagement through curated events, networking opportunities, and a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests.
Your focus may vary depending on your assigned location: either engaging diverse members from various industries or concentrating on supporting Enterprise clients, which may include distinct holidays, systems, operational duties, and property management.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quarterly meetings with assigned accounts to maximize member value, plus regular check-ins to monitor ongoing satisfaction.
- Proactively identify and address member and guest needs by leveraging collected information to personalize experiences.
- Follow-up directly with members who provide negative feedback via Medallia, ensuring their concerns are satisfactorily resolved according to severity.
- Analyze Medallia responses to identify improvement areas and implement proactive experience enhancements.
- Assist with front desk staffing as needed to maintain consistent business hour coverage.
- Facilitate smooth move-ins by holding pre-move-in meetings and completing new member orientations, including preparing welcoming materials.
- Conduct exit interviews with departing members to understand their experiences.
- Collaborate on event programming by providing feedback based on member profiles, hosting weekly social gatherings to build community, and supporting assigned value-driven events.
- Create and distribute event promotions, including weekly posters and individual event advertisements.
- Ensure operational logistics for events (e.g., elevators, HVAC) are addressed.
- Perform daily building walkthroughs to identify and escalate issues to management or other teams.
- Communicate WeWork policies, inform members of relevant building updates via multiple channels, and maintain appropriate building atmosphere through music and activation management.
- Liaise with cleaning contractors to uphold space standards, manage keys and keycards inventory and distribution.
- Oversee community duties in buildings lacking dedicated staff, coordinating with Sales and Account Management and supporting contractual agreements.
- Understand and participate in emergency action plans, prepare incident reports, respond to medical emergencies, and follow leadership directives during emergencies or security alerts.
- Support sales efforts by conducting facility tours for VIPs and prospects, coordinating growth conversations, and properly transferring leads to sales teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum two years of hospitality experience.
- Fluent in the local language with a sound grasp of local culture.
- Exceptional interpersonal and networking capabilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively from inception to completion.
- Detail-oriented with strong task management skills.
- Passionate about nurturing and developing professional relationships.
