About the Role

BnM manages a substantial land portfolio and a variety of projects in its development pipeline, covering onshore wind, solar, energy storage, thermal generation, and emerging technologies tailored to meet the changing requirements of the energy sector. As a Graduate Commercial Analyst, you will support the Commercial team by contributing to the advancement of projects throughout their entire lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include securing market access routes, analyzing strategic grid opportunities, and ensuring the best approaches are employed to maximize the potential of BnM's pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and developing a project pipeline involving thermal, renewable, storage, and flexible technology initiatives.
• Support commercial milestones including route to market strategies and aiding progression toward financial closure.
• Collect, analyze, and present market, operational, and grid-related data to inform business decisions.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and models to monitor project performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Conduct calculations, create diagrams, and aid in resolving technical and commercial challenges.
• Support project budgeting, preparation of business cases, and risk assessments.
• Contribute to documentation for governance meetings, investment approvals, and updates for senior stakeholders.
• Organize and manage extensive datasets on energy market operations, pricing, and customer behavior.
• Standardize competitor databases across Wind, Solar, Thermal sectors, documenting procedures comprehensively.
• Engage with internal teams, including procurement, legal, regulatory, and development departments to align commercial activities with company objectives.
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and welfare policies to protect colleagues and visitors.
• Participate actively in the Performance Management process to meet team and personal goals.

Candidate Profile

• Holds at least a 2:1 classification in a third-level degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, or a closely related field.
• Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, adept at interpreting complex datasets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools or visualization software is advantageous.
• Experience with SQL and Python programming is desirable.
