About Turkey Berry Nepal
Turkey Berry Nepal is a growing social-impact venture focused on harnessing the nutritional, medicinal, and economic benefits of the Turkey Berry plant. Centered on enhancing health, empowering farming communities, and fostering sustainable development in Nepal, the organization is spearheading a movement to popularize Turkey Berry as a superfood. Its initial pilot initiative is underway in Sauraha, Chitwan, where efforts prioritize creating opportunities for farmers, entrepreneurs, and researchers. Guided by values of inclusiveness and resilience in agri-food systems, the company places family farming and rural communities at the heart of its mission, with ambitions to establish Nepal as a global leader in Turkey Berry innovation and nutrition security.
Role Overview
The Co-Founder position is a full-time, hybrid role based in Nepal that offers flexible remote working options. The position involves defining and advancing the strategic vision of the organization, discovering new growth avenues, building partnerships, and overseeing pilot and expansion projects related to Turkey Berry cultivation and its products. Daily duties entail managing operations with local farmers, collaborating with stakeholders in fields like health, agriculture, and research, and aiding the development of sustainable business frameworks.
This role also includes participating in sales and marketing efforts, contributing to fundraising and investor relations, and representing the enterprise in meetings, public forums, and events. Working closely with the founding team, the Co-Founder will help establish organizational structures, processes, and a culture that prioritizes social impact, community empowerment, and long-term sustainability.
