Job description
About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a US-based multinational corporation for the role of CNC Turning Setter at their facility located in Oragadam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This position requires a diploma qualification along with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. The maximum offered annual compensation is up to 5.00 LPA.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and prepare CNC machines to operate accurately.
- Choose and install appropriate tools, fixtures, and workpieces for machining.
- Supervise machining activities continuously to identify and resolve any operational issues.
- Perform thorough quality inspections on the finished components to ensure compliance with specifications.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of CNC operations and machining processes such as VMC (Vertical Machining Center) and HMC (Horizontal Machining Center).
- Familiarity with cutting tools, tooling principles, and fixture designs commonly applied in CNC machining.
- Proficiency in interpreting 2D technical drawings along with 3D CAD models for manufacturing purposes.
