Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team based in Singapore. The candidate will be responsible for creating precise CNC programs aligned with detailed drawings, customer needs, and company standards. This position entails generating programs and tooling plans, updating and revising programs following testing, and designing fixtures necessary for machining processes. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop CNC programs by interpreting detailed drawings, customer requirements, and specifications.
- Prepare CNC programs along with setup and tooling documentation following Quality System Manual (QSM) and engineering protocols.
- Modify and update CNC programs based on testing outcomes.
- Create fixture designs and initiate requests for procurement of new tooling when needed.
- Undertake other assigned tasks related to CNC programming and machining support.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an allied field.
- Applicants holding relevant professional certifications will also be considered.
- Minimum of 2 years practical experience in CNC programming focused on turning or milling operations.
- Competent in interpreting Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical drawings.
- Proficient with CAD/CAM software tools for programming and design.
- Sound knowledge of milling and turning tooling and machining procedures.
