Clinical Educator

Overview

Elevate Healthcare is looking for a passionate and experienced Clinical Educator with active clinical licensure to enhance internal and external healthcare education programs. This role based in Austin, Texas, focuses on developing and delivering simulation-based training and interdisciplinary clinical education that elevate healthcare learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and present simulation-driven education and training for internal teams and customers.
• Support cross-departmental clinical education initiatives within Elevate Healthcare.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to develop instructional materials, eLearning content, and educational guides.
• Engage in product design and R&D activities related to new educational offerings.
• Establish and uphold educational standards aligned with Elevate's product ecosystem.
• Manage assigned major projects effectively.
• Coordinate product education strategies ensuring a sound pedagogical foundation.
• Lead live and virtual training sessions for stakeholders and customers both onsite and at client locations.
• Develop, produce, and refine educational content with strong quality and accuracy standards.
• Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to all materials.
• Ensure training aligns with best practices in simulation education and current clinical standards.
• Collect and implement feedback to improve education programs continuously.
• Maintain a learner-centered, outcome-driven approach across all educational efforts.
• Attend key education conferences, workshops, and stay abreast of emerging trends in healthcare education.

Required Qualifications

• Active clinical licensure such as RN, RT, or Paramedic.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, Paramedicine, Healthcare Education, or related field.
• At least three years’ experience in clinical education and healthcare simulation settings.
• Background in simulation center or healthcare training environments.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational capabilities.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Able to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Excellent public speaking and verbal/written communication skills.
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Austin, Texas.
• Willingness to travel for training and educational engagements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Education, Instructional Design, or related fields.
• Certification as a Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE).
• Experience creating and editing educational video content.
• Familiarity with education content editing tools.
• Understanding of adult learning and eLearning development.
• Experience utilizing Learning Management Systems (LMS) and virtual learning platforms.

Physical Requirements

• Capability to lift, push, pull, and move simulators and related equipment.
• Ability to endure long periods of sitting or standing while performing computer work, video production, and presentations.
• Proficiency facilitating education in both in-person and virtual environments.
