Job description
About FinEasy and Role Overview
FinEasy is a Saudi-based fintech company licensed by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) as a digital financing intermediary. It connects consumers, merchants, and financing partners through a Sharia-compliant point-of-sale financing platform. As the company finalizes its licensing and prepares to launch, the Board seeks a distinguished Chief Executive Officer to lead the company through market launch and growth phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete the remaining SAMA licensing procedures and establish robust governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks within the company.
- Manage the deployment of the digital platform and ensure its successful integration with national infrastructure and financing partners.
- Transition the company from a closed pilot phase to full market launch, steering commercial expansion and profitability efforts.
- Serve as the company’s representative in engagements with the Board, SAMA, shareholders, and strategic collaborators.
- Recruit and motivate a high-performing executive leadership team and cultivate a transparent, positive organizational culture.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Possess 12 to 15 or more years of experience in financial services or fintech, including at least 5 years in senior executive leadership roles.
- Have direct experience working with Saudi regulatory bodies, with deep understanding of SAMA’s frameworks and the regulatory environment governing finance companies.
- Demonstrate solid knowledge of Islamic finance products such as Murabaha and Tawarruq, alongside experience with point-of-sale financing models.
- Proven track record in founding and scaling companies from strategic planning and licensing through launch and growth phases.
- Meet SAMA’s Fit & Proper eligibility criteria, noting that the appointment requires SAMA’s non-objection approval.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English at a full professional level is necessary.
- Possess at least a bachelor's degree; an MBA is preferred.
Opportunity Highlights
This role offers a unique chance to lead a Saudi licensed fintech aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 and the Financial Sector Development Program, backed by a committed governing Board and a clear regulatory path.
