Role Overview

The company seeks a commercially focused Chief Executive Officer to spearhead its next growth phase. This leadership position involves driving the commercial strategy, capital acquisition, and market positioning while collaborating closely with the founding technical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the company's overall commercial strategy.
• Manage capital raising efforts including engaging investors, preparing pitches, and overseeing funding rounds.
• Serve as the company’s primary representative to investors, partners, government officials, and industry bodies.
• Design and implement go-to-market plans across defence and civilian aviation sectors.
• Form strategic partnerships within aerospace, defence, and technology industries.
• Build and oversee the commercial, business development, and sales teams.
• Ensure alignment of commercial objectives with product development and regulatory requirements.
• Steer the company toward sustainable growth, scalability, and potential exit strategies.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated leadership experience as CEO, founder, or senior executive within a high-growth technology, aerospace, or defence company.
• Proven track record in securing capital from venture capitalists, private equity, strategic investors, or government sources.
• Established credibility and presence to engage institutional investors and senior-level stakeholders.
• Highly desirable: background in aviation, aerospace, defence, or dual-use technologies.
• Successful experience commercializing complex technical products.
• Strong networks in relevant sectors such as defence, aviation, or technology.
• Strategic mindset with capability to execute hands-on in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
