Overview
Marina Bay Sands is hiring a Casino Technician to support the smooth operation of slot and table games equipment. This role focuses on maintenance, repairs, customer service support, and keeping technical operations running efficiently across the gaming areas.
Technical responsibilities
- Help develop and roll out maintenance and repair procedures for slot and table games equipment, along with customer service training.
- Carry out assigned technical duties while delivering a high standard of customer service.
- Maintain sufficient technical presence on the gaming floor at all times.
- Keep technical work areas clean and orderly.
- Ensure slot machines and table games equipment remain in optimal working condition.
- Support assigned tasks and special projects to improve efficiency and reduce downtime for the department and the company.
- Move or install equipment and make sure it is operational within an acceptable timeframe.
- Respond promptly to service calls and meet customer service expectations.
- Address customer technical complaints directly whenever possible and escalate when needed.
- Recognize and acknowledge regular casino patrons.
Additional responsibilities
- Keep up to date with new products and equipment introduced in the slot and table games industry.
- Maintain clear communication and information sharing within the technical team and with operations staff.
- Safeguard company assets at all times.
- Follow attendance rules and comply with regulatory, departmental, company policies, and procedures.
Requirements
- A diploma or degree in a related discipline is preferred.
- At least 1 year of technical experience in slot or table games operations is preferred.
- Knowledge of slot and table games operations is important.
- Experience maintaining and repairing electronic table games equipment is preferred.
- Basic electronics knowledge and troubleshooting ability are required.
