Job description

Role Overview

This position is for a Social Worker registered with the SWRB based at the Gisborne site. You will support various caregivers including whānau, non-whānau, emergency, respite, and long-term caregivers, often working across the East Coast area to meet organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities

Collaboration with children's Social Workers, iwi providers, community organizations, and other agencies will help you develop tailored support strategies aimed at achieving excellent outcomes for tamariki. Strong written communication skills are essential due to the volume of assessment reports required.
