CAD Konstrukteur (m/w/d)

Role overview

Rahantech GmbH is looking for a CAD designer to support the creation and refinement of technical components and systems in Erlangen, Bavaria. The role focuses on detailed 3D modeling, drafting, and close coordination with internal teams to turn engineering requirements into practical designs.

Key responsibilities

• Create 3D models and technical drawings using common CAD platforms such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, Inventor, and Siemens NX.
• Design and further develop individual parts, assemblies, and complete systems.
• Work closely with project management, manufacturing, and purchasing teams.
• Carry out design changes and improve existing constructions where needed.
• Ensure that all designs comply with applicable standards and quality guidelines.

Requirements

• Completed studies in mechanical engineering, design engineering, or a similar qualification such as a technician or technical draftsman background.
• Several years of experience with modern CAD software.
• Strong technical understanding, accurate work style, and a creative approach to problem-solving.
• Good written and spoken German; English is an advantage.
• Strong team spirit and motivation to drive innovative solutions.
