Sun Precast Co is a rapidly expanding, employee-owned company specializing in architectural precast and cast stone fabrication. Their corporate headquarters are located in Beaver Springs, PA.

Position Overview

They are seeking a seasoned CAD Drafter with extensive experience in AutoCAD to join their team on-site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting construction drawings and producing precise CAD drawings to support the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret construction documentation to develop accurate CAD drawings tailored for manufacturing.
• Maintain professional communication directly with customers to ensure clarity and project alignment.
• Manage tasks efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A minimum of 5 years of experience using AutoCAD, preferably within a precast concrete or construction context.
• Strong mathematical aptitude essential for precise drafting.
• Proficiency in computer applications including AutoCAD, Microsoft Office suite, and Windows operating system.
• Exceptional organizational skills to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret construction contract drawings.
• Experience with architectural precast and/or cast stone is advantageous.

Working Hours and Location

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with overtime as necessary. This is an hourly, full-time position requiring on-site presence in Beaver Springs, PA. Remote work is not available.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation is hourly and commensurate with experience and qualifications. Full-time benefits begin after 90 days and include paid vacation, personal days, holidays from the start, 401(k) plan, health insurance, company-paid dental and vision coverage, employee stock ownership, $500 employee referral bonuses, and company-paid life insurance.
