Working under the Director of BI and Data Operations, the Business Intelligence Analyst will be part of the Business Intelligence team and will turn data into useful insights and recommendations that help advance organizational goals. This person will partner with teams across the organization to understand operational challenges and identify how data and process changes can address them. The role calls for curiosity, strong analysis, independent ownership, and the ability to explain complex data in simple terms for non-technical audiences. A successful candidate will be collaborative and open to new tools and methods that improve how data is used.

Process Improvement and Project Management
- Review business processes, collect and document requirements, and collaborate with peers in Data and Technology to implement efficiency improvements.
- Continuously assess and enhance important processes across departments in partnership with department leaders.
- Act as either project lead or project contributor depending on the initiative, managing work independently from planning through delivery and keeping stakeholders updated.
- Balance multiple priorities and resources while tracking deliverables to keep work on schedule.
- Perform user acceptance testing and incorporate feedback to confirm solutions meet business needs before release.
Documentation and Training
- Convert data findings and process knowledge into input for formal documentation created by the Technology Enablement team.
- Run meetings and presentations to share conclusions and next steps with audiences ranging from individual contributors to senior leaders.
- Coach end users on Salesforce reporting and how to interpret outputs, helping strengthen data literacy across the organization.
Qualifications
The organization is looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree in business or a related area, or comparable professional experience. A minimum of 2 years of experience in business analysis, data operations, or a similar field is required; nonprofit experience is preferred. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and conceptual thinking, curiosity, and a willingness to try new tools and approaches. They should be able to influence stakeholders, work closely with them to reach workable solutions, and bring advanced technical ability with databases and visualization tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, and Excel. Experience with AI tools, or openness to using them for reporting and analysis, is also important. The role also calls for experience preparing detailed reports and presenting to audiences from frontline staff to senior leadership, along with strong written and verbal communication, independent project ownership, organizational strength, time management, and a collaborative mindset.
Compensation and Benefits

Benefits may vary by employment status, but employees may be eligible for healthcare coverage, a 401(k) with employer match, short-term and long-term disability insurance, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, paid time off, and several paid holidays.
