Role Overview

As Notion revises its market strategy toward a workflow-first, builder-led approach, the Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a key role in converting suitable accounts into meaningful conversations. Collaborating closely with Solutions Consultants, you will identify and engage companies ready to transform their workflows, ensuring the opportunities are build-ready and aligned with the ideal customer profile (ICP). The position is Dublin-based, requiring presence in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (Anchor Days) to foster teamwork and creativity.

Key Responsibilities

• Cultivate qualified pipeline by targeting high-potential accounts and working with sellers on outreach strategies.
• Execute multi-channel outbound campaigns via email, phone, LinkedIn, and events to generate urgency and secure meetings with decision-makers.
• Perform initial qualification to confirm readiness of opportunities for building solutions—not just discussions—validating ICP fit, intent, and workflow alignment.
• Prepare and provide comprehensive handoff documents in Salesforce including ICP indicators, pain points, workflow assumptions, and stakeholder insights to facilitate smooth transitions to sellers.
• Utilize go-to-market system tools and intent data to refine targeting and prioritize accounts, enhancing effectiveness and consistency of outreach.

Required Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated success in outbound pipeline generation, actively prospecting through cold calls, emails, and social platforms.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills capable of producing customized, persuasive outreach that garners responses.
• Keen aptitude for rapid qualification—accurately assessing ICP match, urgency, and preparing Solutions Consultants for productive meetings.
• Interest and knowledge in AI/ML concepts and familiarity with API-first or consumption-driven business models.
• High activity levels combined with discipline to prioritize leads based on meaningful signals and data rather than sheer volume.
• An openness to learn and implement AI tools to optimize productivity and outcomes, despite not requiring expert AI proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce, Outreach, or similar go-to-market software tools.
• Prior exposure to Notion products or experience selling productivity, collaboration, or workflow-centric software.
• Work background in rapid-paced, metrics-driven outbound sales environments with clear pipeline goals.

Compensation and Commitment

Notion offers a highly competitive salary, equity, and benefits package. Estimated total on-target earnings (base plus incentive) are approximately €70,000 annually, subject to factors like location, role complexity, and candidate experience.
