Role overview
We are looking for a Business Development Representative to support the DACH region by creating fresh meeting opportunities for the senior sales team. This is a revenue-focused commercial position where strong interpersonal communication will be a major advantage.
The position is home-based and does not involve travel. Most prospecting and discovery conversations will take place over Microsoft Teams.
You will report directly to the Senior BDR Director.
Fluency in both English and German is required.
Key responsibilities
- Open new business opportunities across the DACH market using outbound outreach, follow-up on inbound interest, and focused prospecting.
- Handle the assessment and qualification of incoming leads.
- Develop trusted relationships with prospects across all levels, including senior decision-makers.
- Keep lead records accurate and maintain strong CRM hygiene.
- Partner closely with Marketing and Partner teams to increase lead generation and build opportunity pipeline.
- Represent the company with professionalism in every customer interaction.
Experience and background
We are seeking someone with 1 to 3 years of experience in business development or inside sales. A track record of booking meetings is important. Experience selling SaaS, enterprise software, or technology solutions would be a clear advantage.
Personal attributes
The ideal candidate is ambitious, highly motivated by targets, and comfortable working toward commercial goals. You should be a confident relationship builder and communicator who can sell and present effectively in a virtual setting. Strong organisation, self-discipline, resilience, and the ability to balance several opportunities at once are also important. You should be proactive and able to perform well in a fast-changing environment.
