Business Development Manager

About the Role

Aditya Birla Capital is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team in Karnataka, India. This position requires expertise in Lease Rental Discounting (LRD), Lease Against Property (LAP), and commercial real estate financing to drive sourcing, structure deals, and manage portfolios effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and originate lease rental discounting opportunities by leveraging corporate ecosystems, vendors, partners, and dealer networks.
• Identify and structure high-quality LRD deals involving leased assets and rental-backed transactions.
• Build and strengthen relationships with corporate stakeholders, real estate developers, leasing teams, and channel partners.
• Collaborate with banks and NBFCs for risk participation and syndication purposes.
• Manage the complete deal cycle from origination through to disbursement in close coordination with credit, legal, and technical teams.
• Ensure deal structures comply with internal risk guidelines and meet customer needs.
• Maintain portfolio quality by monitoring asset performance, minimizing non-performing assets, and actively tracking delinquencies.
• Drive cross-selling and up-selling of other financial products offered by the group.

Qualifications and Skills

• 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in LRD, LAP, or commercial real estate financing.
• Extensive network within corporate sectors, developers, and leasing ecosystems.
• Strong knowledge of lease transaction structures, rental cash flow analysis, and property valuation techniques.
• Demonstrated success in originating and executing structured lending transactions.
