Overview
This role involves managing the entire Middle East subsidiary operations, overseeing multiple departments to ensure smooth and efficient workflow. The Branch Manager will have supervisory responsibilities for key teams and coordinate activities related to customer care, distribution, quality assurance, warehousing, and supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate customer care operations, including quotation and order processing, monitoring large quotations, and following up on open orders.
- Develop and manage work procedures, scheduling, and employee performance monitoring; authorize leaves and handle sickness reporting.
- Ensure prompt and accurate processing of orders and customer correspondence, liaising with customers and field sales to address specific requirements.
- Organize training programs related to company software and product knowledge for branch staff.
- Oversee distribution operations, ensuring timely inbound receipt of materials and outbound freight coordination in collaboration with logistics.
- Manage shipment documentation, investigate and resolve complaints related to damaged or lost goods, and settle claims with carriers.
- Schedule shipments compliant with international regulations and company policies; negotiate freight prices and manage transport invoices.
- Maintain quality documentation for the subsidiary and actively participate in quality improvement initiatives alongside regional quality management.
- Coordinate incoming inspection processes as needed.
- Supervise warehouse activities including inventory receipt and delivery, scheduling, equipment maintenance, and space allocation.
- Coordinate with other departments to align warehouse functions with production, sales, record keeping, and purchasing.
- Manage disposal of surplus, obsolete, or slow-moving stock; ensure accuracy of inventory through physical counts and audits.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to enhance on-time delivery performance and monitor forecast orders and inventory levels to address excess or slow-moving stock.
Supervisory Roles
Leads Customer Care Supervisors and Warehouse Team Leaders.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of a college degree or equivalent experience.
- Relevant experience in warehousing and transportation logistics.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Fluency in English and the local language; additional language skills are advantageous.
