Role overview
Creative Hospitality is hiring a Bartender for The Ritz-Carlton, AMAALA, an ultra-luxury hospitality destination on the Red Sea. This role is suited to someone who enjoys creating high-quality beverage experiences and can perform confidently in a busy, guest-focused setting.
This position is located on AMAALA Island, which is a secluded remote destination. Applicants should be comfortable residing and working in an island-based environment.
What the role involves
- Welcoming guests and interacting with them throughout their bar visit in a friendly, attentive manner.
- Mixing and serving cocktails, mocktails, and other drinks to premium service standards.
- Keeping the bar clean, orderly, and properly prepared for service.
- Tracking stock levels, managing inventory, and serving alcohol responsibly.
- Addressing guest requests and concerns in a courteous and professional way.
- Assisting with both opening routines and end-of-day closing tasks.
What the employer is seeking
The ideal candidate has prior bartending experience in a luxury hotel, lounge, or similar hospitality environment. A polished, guest-oriented approach is important, along with a solid understanding of cocktails, spirits, beverage menus, and mixology methods.
Strong communication and people skills are needed, as well as the ability to handle several tasks at once and stay composed during busy service periods. The role also requires flexibility for rotating schedules, evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Good English is required, and Arabic is considered an advantage.
