Barline Machine Operator - Afternoon Shift (2:00pm to 10:30pm)

Role Overview

We seek experienced machine operators to join our Barline team for the afternoon shift from 2:00pm to 10:30pm, located in East Tamaki, Auckland. This role involves operating high-speed machinery while ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality standards to ensure products are manufactured and packed correctly with proper documentation.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in high-speed machine operation, preferably including line setup and process improvement.
• Knowledge of specific processes such as sheeting, mixing, enrobing, and chocolate tempering is highly valued.
• Strong mechanical ability and problem-solving skills.
• Physical capability to frequently lift weights up to 25kg.
• Flexibility to adapt to evolving work requirements and timelines.
• Motivation for continuous improvement in work practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety regulations.
• Successful applicants will undergo pre-employment checks including literacy and numeracy testing, medical and drug screening, and criminal background verification.
