Barista

Role Overview

Compass Group Ireland is seeking a motivated Barista to join their team on a full-time basis, working 37.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday during daytime hours. This position offers an opportunity to craft excellent coffee beverages and provide outstanding customer service within a company that values and invests in its employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare expertly blended coffee drinks and serve high-quality food items that satisfy customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista area throughout the shift.
• Handle customer payments efficiently, accepting both cash and credit card transactions.
• Collaborate enthusiastically with team members and communicate effectively.
• Ensure adequate stock of clean mugs, plates, and other necessary supplies.
• Acquire knowledge about various brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation standards.
• Monitor brewing equipment functionality and report any maintenance requirements promptly.
• Uphold a positive brand representation of Compass Group Ireland at all times.
• Strictly adhere to food handling, hygiene, and health & safety compliance standards.

Candidate Profile

• Exceptional communication skills and an ability to build strong customer relationships.
• Prior experience in customer service roles is preferred.
• A proactive and motivated approach, aiming for high standards of excellence.
• Capable of independent decision-making focused on customer satisfaction.
• Practical hands-on experience with coffee brewing equipment.
• Ability to perform efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrates outstanding punctuality and reliability.
