Position Overview

We are seeking a Baker to join our New Zealand team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop a career in baking within a vibrant supermarket setting. Bakers at Woolworths craft high-quality cakes and breads and contribute to training and mentoring junior staff.

Schedule

• Friday to Monday shifts from 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and bake a variety of quality breads and cakes for the department
• Uphold health, safety, and food safety standards to ensure excellent bakery customer service
• Mentor, train, and supervise apprentices and team members within the bakery

Candidate Profile

• Practical baking experience with demonstrated knowledge of baking processes
• Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure, adapt to flexible hours, and meet tight deadlines
