About the Role
Amazon, a global leader in e-commerce, is expanding its retail presence in Saudi Arabia and seeks a driven Associate Vendor Manager based in Riyadh. This role involves establishing partnerships with new vendors to integrate their products into Amazon.sa’s online stores. Candidates will work in a dynamic, fast-evolving environment that encourages innovation and operational excellence, offering considerable opportunities for personal growth and making a significant impact on Amazon Retail's future in Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage prospective vendors through various channels such as cold calling, trade fairs, and commercial events to evaluate their potential alignment with Amazon.
- Act as a trusted business advisor to new vendors, understanding diverse business sectors and providing tailored insights and guidance.
- Support vendors with catalog integration by guiding their usage of Amazon's proprietary tools and ensuring smooth onboarding processes.
- Serve as the primary Amazon representative for vendors, developing comprehensive knowledge of their requirements and success metrics.
- Conduct, analyze, and report vendor performance metrics to inform ongoing strategy and vendor management decisions.
- Assist in refining recruitment and onboarding methodologies by identifying and resolving technical challenges and suggesting process enhancements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Minimum of one year experience in account management, project/program management, or buying roles.
- Proficiency with Excel and business analytics platforms.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with software and editing tools such as HTML and SQL.
- Prior experience in online retail environments.
- Competence with analytical tools including Google Analytics, SQL, or HTML.
