About the Role

Join the Angels Initiative Team at IQVIA to help improve healthcare outcomes for stroke patients. This position as an Associate Market Access Specialist focuses on enhancing stroke care by supporting hospitals and healthcare professionals throughout Kenya. It offers a chance to work in a fast-paced international setting aligned with a global pharmaceutical leader committed to healthcare innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance the efficiency of stroke patient management processes.
  • Provide ongoing training and organizational support to hospitals, EMS, and healthcare workers.
  • Act as a therapeutic expert by promoting updated diagnostic and treatment guidelines in hospital settings.
  • Advocate for quality assurance programs to maintain hospital and EMS performance standards.
  • Expand outreach initiatives to incorporate additional hospitals into the project.
  • Lead multidisciplinary stroke teams focusing on continuous quality improvements.
  • Refine therapeutic protocols within major medical centers.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Robust scientific knowledge base, preferably holding a PhD in Neuroscience.
  • Strong motivation combined with excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Adaptable, solution-focused approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrates accountability, ownership, and resilience in dynamic environments.
  • Experience collaborating with healthcare organizations and professionals.
  • Proactive approach toward process and outcome enhancements.
  • Possession of a valid Kenyan driving license and proficient driving skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively (up to 70% of the time).
  • Authorization to work full time in Kenya.
