Associate Lawyer

Oikonomakis Law is an established legal practice serving a demanding, high-profile client base and is looking to strengthen its presence in Germany. The firm is hiring a talented Associate Lawyer for its Hamburg or Düsseldorf office. This position is suited to a fully qualified lawyer with a strong academic and professional track record, sound judgment, and the ability to handle work independently and responsibly.

The role involves supporting both international and domestic clients across a broad mix of legal matters in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guidance to clients on corporate, commercial, litigation, and general practice matters.
• Prepare, assess, and refine contracts, legal paperwork, and internal memoranda.
• Carry out legal research and turn findings into clear, practical advice.
• Communicate directly with clients and public authorities in Germany and abroad.
• Work with colleagues across different offices on cross-border matters.

Requirements

• Completion of the Zweites Staatsexamen and full qualification as a German lawyer.
• At least 5 years of post-qualification professional legal experience, preferably in a law firm or in-house legal team.
• Strong written and spoken German and English skills.
• Sharp analytical ability and careful attention to detail.
• A collaborative, proactive, and client-focused approach.
