Overview
We are searching for a diligent and proactive Developer Project Manager to oversee the complete lifecycle of development projects, from initial planning through to final delivery. This role requires effective coordination with various parties including consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects meet deadlines, stay within budget, and comply with quality standards.
Key Duties
- Manage all phases of project development, including design, procurement, construction, and handover processes.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to maintain seamless project execution.
- Track project timelines, tender administration, financial budgets, and quality to ensure compliance with project objectives; take corrective actions if needed.
- Work alongside consultants and relevant authorities to guarantee adherence to local regulations and secure necessary approvals.
- Conduct site inspections regularly to monitor construction progress against plans and specifications.
- Identify potential risks and address technical or operational challenges promptly.
- Perform value engineering exercises to maximize project benefits and cost-efficiency.
- Ensure safety protocols, site detailing, and environmental controls are implemented and maintained.
- Handle contract administration tasks including tenders and awards.
- Perform feasibility assessments such as test-fits and space planning to evaluate site viability.
Candidate Profile
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience in property development, construction, or consultancy fields.
- Experience in construction site operations is preferred.
- Degree holder in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Singapore’s construction procedures, project management methods, and regulatory landscape.
- Background in civil and structural engineering work is advantageous.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to handle multiple stakeholders and meet demanding deadlines efficiently.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with local regulatory body submissions such as BCA and URA.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and sound decision-making ability.
- Highly detail-focused and well-organized.
- Positive and collaborative attitude with team-oriented communication skills.
