Role Overview

The Assistant Manager Marketing will report to the Marketing Manager and play a vital role in evaluating sales trends, managing product life cycles from conception to market activation, supporting cross-category creative initiatives, and aiding the development of seasonal strategies to bolster market sell-in. Key Responsibilities

  • Support seasonal product launch setups within the company’s ERP system and partake in planning meetings with international teams.
  • Assist inventory evaluations and monthly tracking to meet financial and stock objectives.
  • Participate in weekly meetings monitoring production, shipments, and distribution center availability.
  • Coordinate with Demand Analytics and Sales Operations teams to ensure forecast precision for quarterly profit targets.
  • Collaborate with merchandising teams locally and globally to develop product strategies and optimize in-store and online executions.
  • Work with the Creative Services Manager to maintain brand cohesiveness and compliance with brand guidelines across all retail channels and e-commerce platforms.
  • Support product profitability analysis through P&L evaluations.
  • Create and manage agency briefs for marketing, PR, packaging, and in-store visuals, ensuring effective market execution and senior team presentations.
  • Oversee packaging artwork approval processes and flow for new packaging.
  • Monitor retail and online stores to incorporate findings into marketing strategies.
  • Maintain communication materials such as product information forms and sell sheets.
  • Plan trade activations with Corporate Sales Managers.
  • Prepare and update retailer presentations supporting product sell-in, collaborating to provide samples and color swatches.
  • Lead weekly meetings with the Customer Management Group to address retailer needs and share updates.
  • Support e-commerce initiatives including retailer.com and pure players.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in product management, brand management, retail management, or direct-to-consumer operations.
  • Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or apparel industries considered a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in New Product Development and data analytics.
