Role Overview

The Health Promotion Board (HPB) invites a passionate, innovative, and energetic professional to lead advancements in health promotion by translating research findings into real-world applications. This role is crucial in steering the future direction of health promotion through the analysis of cutting-edge research, extensive data, and new technologies for implementation in nationwide health initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full digital product lifecycle, including conceptualization, design, feasibility testing, outcome assessment, and scaling solutions for broad population impact.
- Integrate behavioural science insights to guide the design, implementation, and evaluation of user-centric experiences and health products.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including experts, data scientists, and deployment professionals, to develop innovative, practical health solutions.
- Demonstrate solution effectiveness via measurable results and craft compelling narratives to secure endorsement and support from stakeholders internally and externally.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Expertise in synthesizing complex challenges into clear, strategic insights.
- Capacity to link diverse information areas to formulate effective problem-solving strategies.
- Familiarity with behavioural insights frameworks and design thinking methodologies.
- Ability to effectively operate in dynamic, ambiguous, and fast-paced environments.
- A strong intellectual curiosity and open-minded approach to novel concepts.
- Adaptability to quickly absorb and understand new domains.
- Proven project management capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, capable of engaging varied audiences.
- Comfortable functioning as both an individual contributor and team leader.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses a university degree in any field.
- Minimum of 8 years' relevant professional experience, with at least 5 years managing comprehensive projects including stakeholder engagement.
- At least 3 years experience leading cross-functional or interdisciplinary teams to complete full product or project lifecycles spanning multiple years.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience and successful application of behavioural insights and/or design thinking in practice.
- Experience or knowledge in public health, healthcare, health sciences, research, or quantitative fields is advantageous.
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence, particularly generative AI, is considered beneficial.
Contract Details
The selected candidate will be offered a contract position for an initial term of two years.
