Role Overview
The Area Service Manager will oversee field operations and technical services with a focus on achieving high customer satisfaction and operational efficiency in Aurangabad, Bihar.
Major Responsibilities
- Achieve customer satisfaction levels exceeding 90% by monitoring FSE performance and providing technical support.
- Ensure adherence to service level agreements at a rate above 80%.
- Lead root cause analysis efforts focusing on MTBF, MTTR, and failure trend evaluations.
- Optimize the usage of spare parts to reduce wastage and costs.
- Maintain complete compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and foster a culture of zero incidents.
- Manage audits, deployment of tools, and ensure readiness of field operations.
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams, external vendors, and customers to streamline operations.
Candidate Qualifications
- Possess a BE or B.Tech degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Diploma holders with at least 5 years of experience are also eligible.
- ITI certified candidates with at least 8 years of experience qualify.
Skills Required
- Strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
- Proficient in technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Experience in managing teams, specifically Field Service Engineers (FSEs).
- Skilled in management information systems (MIS), reporting, and Excel usage.
- Excellent communication abilities and stakeholder relationship management.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
