Project Overview
Join our Software Engineering Group where the focus is on innovative problem-solving and applying best engineering practices to meet business challenges. This role involves engaging across the full software development lifecycle and collaborating closely with various stakeholders to achieve aligned objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust applications with a strong emphasis on development rather than support activities.
- Utilize and deepen expertise in tools and technologies including Grafana, ELK stack, MQ/Kafka, WebSocket, SFTP, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop advanced Java components alongside scripting capabilities in Python and Shell (Bash).
Required Skills and Experience
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in application development roles, explicitly non-support focused.
- Proficient understanding of Grafana dashboards, ELK stack logging solutions, message queuing systems such as MQ and Kafka.
- Experience with WebSocket communication, SFTP for secure file transfers, and familiarity with continuous integration and deployment practices.
- Strong coding skills in Python and Shell scripting; advanced Java development capabilities are essential.
