APAC Learning Delivery Manager - Underwriting

Role Purpose

The Learning Delivery Manager's role is to empower and develop underwriting professionals at Chubb by delivering engaging, high-quality learning sessions. This position ensures participants acquire critical expertise, skills, and confidence needed to advance their careers, while promoting a culture of ongoing learning and professional development aligned with Chubb's excellence in underwriting.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact within APAC for all technical learning requirements, coordinating regional training efforts and initiatives.
• Conduct engaging virtual training sessions across multiple regions and facilitate face-to-face workshops and programs when required throughout APAC. Tailor facilitation approaches to suit diverse learning preferences and backgrounds, cultivating an inclusive and collaborative learning environment. Flexibility is essential as training delivery is shared among team members and not confined to one specific region.
• Collaborate closely with the APAC Training & Development team along with business leaders and stakeholders to consult on learning needs, provide expert advice, and recommend solutions addressing challenges and supporting strategic objectives both regionally and globally. Relay local training requirements to the Global Relationship Manager and Chubb Global Learning leadership as needed.
• Prepare and deliver training content effectively by reviewing materials, utilizing assessment tools, and gathering feedback to evaluate participant comprehension and drive continual skill development.
• Partner with instructional designers, subject matter experts, HR, and business units to enhance training content, apply relevant learning strategies, and integrate insurance domain knowledge across various business lines.
• Monitor user participation and progress, generate reports on outcomes, and utilize Learning Solution Management systems such as CTX to gauge training effectiveness and identify areas for enhancement.
• Stay current with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve the quality and impact of training initiatives.

• Exceptional presentation and facilitation abilities.
• Extensive technical knowledge and expertise in Property & Casualty Insurance Underwriting.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting and evaluating technical information.
• Excellent oral and written communication capabilities.
• Proven teamwork skills and ability to work autonomously.
• Willingness and ability to travel as necessary.
• Flexibility to adjust working hours to accommodate participants in different time zones.
