AML Operations Specialist (Transaction Monitoring) - MariBank (Contract)

Role overview

This contract role supports AML/CFT transaction monitoring work for MariBank in Singapore. The position is centered on reviewing alerts, carrying out investigations, and maintaining a strong standard of consistency, adherence to process, and productivity.

What you will do

• Review AML/CFT transaction monitoring alerts and investigate cases raised through the monitoring process.
• Ensure alert handling is completed accurately, consistently, and in line with internal procedures and productivity expectations.
• Close alerts within the required turnaround time as a Level 1 reviewer.
• Work mainly on transaction monitoring tasks, while also contributing to other customer due diligence activities when needed.
• Follow standard operating procedures closely and maintain proper records and documentation.
• Assist with additional projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• A diploma is required, along with at least 1 year of experience in AML transaction monitoring.
• Working knowledge of MAS guidelines is expected.
• Understanding of the full AML value chain is important.
• Strong spoken and written communication skills are needed.
• You should be flexible, adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a team.
• The role requires the ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and manage time well.
• Good proficiency in MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, and Google Sheets, is required.
