AI Speech Narrator (English)

About the Role

This is a contract position for an AI Speech Narrator focused on English language voice overs, working remotely. The engagement spans two months with a full-time commitment of 30 to 40 hours weekly, requiring at least a 4-hour overlap with Pacific Standard Time. The role involves contributing high-quality voice recordings to AI text-to-speech training projects with an immediate start date.

Core Responsibilities

• Produce clear and expressive voiceover recordings for various AI speech synthesis tasks.
• Adapt narration style and tone following creative guidelines and script interpretation.
• Implement revisions based on feedback to ensure audio quality meets project standards.
• Ensure uniformity in vocal tone, enunciation, and pace throughout the recordings.
• Submit final audio files promptly in the prescribed format according to project deadlines.

Candidate Requirements

• Relevant professional background in voice acting, narration, or audio recording.
• Excellent vocal control, clarity, and ability to express a wide range of emotions.
• Flexibility to perform different speaking styles and modulations as required.
• Possession of professional-grade recording gear and a noise-free recording space.
• Experience with dubbing, ADR, localization, or similar voice work is advantageous.
• A demo reel demonstrating voice adaptability is required.
• Knowledge of audio editing software is beneficial.
• Strong discipline to follow direction, respect deadlines, and uphold quality expectations.
• Acceptance to sign a project consent form and complete onboarding protocols.
