Role Summary

The AI Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of advanced generative AI and wider AI solutions. This role requires collaboration with product, data science, and engineering teams to turn complex business problems into scalable AI architectures and impactful applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate advanced generative AI opportunities alongside product and business stakeholders.
• Convert AI prototypes into operational software using CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and ongoing monitoring.
• Develop scalable ETL pipelines to facilitate model training and inference processes.
• Deploy AI applications in cloud-native settings ensuring comprehensive observability.
• Design multi-step AI agents that integrate multiple APIs and enterprise systems.
• Improve AI frameworks by adding custom components and optimization techniques.
• Lead interdisciplinary projects and collaborate between product, engineering, and operations teams.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related discipline is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 2 to 5 years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering, focusing on production deployment of AI models.
• Proficiency in Python programming language with solid knowledge of large language models and AI agent frameworks.
• Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Capable of building RESTful and GraphQL APIs and designing effective data pipelines.
• Strong communication skills with ability to convey technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional teams and mentoring junior personnel.
• Familiarity with MLOps practices including CI/CD, model monitoring, and awareness of data privacy and ethics concerns.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Willingness to adopt emerging technologies and improve workflows in a dynamic setting.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from $69,555 to $134,881 annually based on experience and other factors.
