Job description
Role Overview
As an Accountant Cum Cashier, you will oversee the daily operations of the restaurant to guarantee smooth, effective service while upholding hygiene and ambiance consistent with company standards. This includes ensuring compliance with FSSAI and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise food preparation and maintain quality standards, focusing on authentic South Indian dishes such as dosa, idli, and vada.
- Coordinate kitchen and service teams to achieve timely order delivery.
- Recruit, train, and schedule staff including kitchen personnel, service team, and cashiers.
- Conduct team meetings and assess performance regularly.
- Ensure staff meet grooming, hygiene, and behavioral expectations.
- Drive team motivation to meet sales and service targets daily.
- Engage with customers to foster a positive dining experience and promptly resolve complaints.
- Uphold high guest satisfaction benchmarks to encourage repeat business.
- Manage daily sales records, expenses, and cash handling with accuracy.
- Prepare and deliver daily and weekly management information system (MIS) reports.
- Oversee inventory management and communicate with purchasing for timely stock replenishment.
- Control food costs, reduce wastage, and prevent pilferage.
- Encourage and manage customer feedback and online reviews.
- Maintain attendance records, payroll inputs, and vendor billing documentation.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety audits, and statutory requirements such as FSSAI.
- Report operational and maintenance concerns promptly to management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate in Commerce (B.Com or M.Com).
- Experience ranging from 2 to 10 years managing South Indian or casual dining restaurant operations.
- Thorough knowledge of South Indian cuisine and its operational requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Tally ERP, Excel, and Petpooja point-of-sale software.
Compensation Details
The role offers a monthly remuneration between 15,000 and 16,000 INR.
