About the Organization

Devasya Welfare Foundation is a youth-led non-governmental organization founded in 2021 by Vijay Chauhan and Vidhi Baria. Registered as a Section 8 company under the Government of India and possessing an 80G certificate, it facilitates tax-exempt donations. The organization aims to foster a happier, healthier society by uplifting underprivileged children and communities through initiatives including menstrual hygiene awareness, birthday celebrations for needy children, free medical camps, education programs, skill development workshops, and food distribution. Presently operational in Vadodara, Surat, and Ahmedabad, it also provides online volunteering opportunities across India, with plans for expansion.

Internship Responsibilities

• Leverage social media platforms to generate funds supporting social missions.
• Promote crowdfunding campaigns online to maximize participation and donations.
• Keep daily records of donation amounts, supporters, and progress metrics.
• Maintain professional communication representing the foundation to donors, sponsors, and contributors.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must be able to work from home during the internship.
• Availability to commence the internship anytime between July 17, 2026, and August 21, 2026.
• Commitment to a one-week internship duration.
• Possess relevant skills and interest aligned with fundraising and social work.

Compensation and Benefits

The stipend ranges from INR 2,500 to 5,000 per month, composed of a fixed amount between INR 1,500 and 3,500 plus an incentive of INR 1,000 to 1,500. Benefits include a certificate of completion, letter of recommendation, flexible working hours, and a five-day workweek.
